It's WRATH OF THE TITANS (love the rhyming) and it's scheduled for a 30March 2012 release date... different writers ( ) but the unkilled cast returns without recasting. They are shooting at Shepperton as we speak. 3D?? Did you like the first in 3D? It wasn't originally written or shot to be 3D, but the sequel may be. "the unkilled cast"?? Ha ha ;D Unless they do WRATH OF THE TITANS... AND ZOMBIES! Then, we would possibly get to see Hans in the sequel! Hans as a Zombie ...? It would be interesting to happen. ;D

What would a zombie, the un-dead version of a man turned to stone, be like? Would he emit dust with every move, moan "eyes down... EYES DOWN" all while seeking human flesh? Poor Eusbios would just be stuck there, holding his ankle in his hand, hollering for Ixas to wait for him.
and then Jane Bennet (not played by Natalie Portman as it turns out) would come out from a corner and kick their asses,...and we'd be back to square one.

That is a seriously awesome idea!!!!! That would be a horror, Gg. Clash of the Titans was a little bit of a horror film to me! I mean imagine if you had to live in a world where YOU KNOW a woman like medusa existed, and you were going to hunt her down That is some freaky sh** And holy moses Gg!! XD I pictured your zombie hans with the "eyes down...EYES DOWN", and now when I see Ixas and hear him say those last lines - I'm gonna think of you! ;D

Rosamund Pike will be Andromeda in WOTT... I just think she is gorgeous and lovely. Another reason to wish for Ixas's reincarnation!

Speaking of COTT, I bought this the other day. I think that's my saturday evening film sorted. I am quite interested in which direction Wrath of the Titans will go, if I haven't admitted this before!

I watched it yesterday night, my cousin had watched it and told me she wasn't impressed at all, but I wanted to watch it anyway... Well, it was quite inaccurate I must say, there is no ancient greek myth speaking about a revolution against gods, the cracken isn't a greek mythical monster, the olympian gods, zeus mostly, looked more like viking gods in my opinion. Also according to the myth zeus transformed to golden rain to reach Danae, mother of Perseus, who was imprisoned by her king father. He didn't take the form of her husband, that reminds me more of the legend of king Arthur. Of course I liked Ralph Fiennes, I would like his acting no matter the character and the movie, but I don't think Hans had the role he deserved. He such a talented actor, too good for that movie...

I could not have said it better, lacrimosa. I completely agree with you. But I have to say that this movie made me laugh! Have you noticed that Zeus sparkles? Such a beautiful dress ;D ;D

Remakes will always be a challenge, though I must say I don't think the original COTT was noted for it's mythological "authenticity" but its camp loving cult following. The sequel is in post production and it will be interesting to see what they make of it. Neither Hans or Gemma are in the sequel.
It wasn't necessarily a role we'd been use to seeing him in, but if an actor is offered a big hollywood studio film with blockbuster aspirations, I can imagine it would seem worth a try. It takes repeated miracles for an actor to get work they "deserve".
