A set visit and high rea shot of Io at

I visited Louis last week on the set of Clash of Titans. It was a great moment.
Here are some personal feelings on what I saw during my two days on Leterrier's set.
I watched two sequences first cutting (no end and beginning, no sfx, cut on the set quickly during the day by shooting) and it was already exciting. I could note some beautiful shoots with a moviebird (a kind of Technocrane (http://www.technocranecana da.com/) Which emphasize the decors of the films.
Louis likes to use this way to sho0t and it's look like relevant for a epic movie like Clash of Titans. Movements of camera which give rhythm and tension ...Oops !I forgot to tell you that action takes place during the fight against Medusa! And the other action take place when our heroes are confronted with three Witches.
Louis also shot characters in the depth, with a foreground and backgrounds, so the space in cinemascope is well used.
Camera movements which accompanies / is coupled with the action or the emotion of the characters.
For the moment there is no abundance of close-up " hollywodien " on the stars of the film and there are not wide shots with technocrane or whatever only Illustrative (with no meaning, gratuitous).
Obviously it will be necessary to wait for the final editing to get a definitive glance. But I'm confident.
I guess Louis will shot Clash differently that Hulk. For every project of film there is a way to shot it, and as I saw Louis seem to choose one. He knows what is doing!
On monitor (and pictures are not worked again even yet in postprod )we could see light by Peter Menzies jr was contrast, darks...for sure it should look like to a dark fantasy.
Sam Worthington, Hans Matheson, Gemma Arterton, Mads Mikkelsen ...looks greats. Dirty, not bodybuilding, they look like “realistic”, especially Mads Mikkelsen to my opinion!
