Not that I was a fan of the first 300 movie but I went to watch "rise of an empire" what a shocker,couldn't get over just how ripped and buff Hans looks, so different. Okay in all fairness I can't say I loved the movie and he's character doesn't do a great deal but stand around and look ripped & buff but I suppose there are worse things I could have been doing than watching Hans.

They spent months in Bulgaria training for ROAE - working with GymJones, who also worked on 300 and Man of Steel. The training extended (from March) into principal photography (that began in July), so quite a commitment to getting the look and keeping it through the shoot, that wrapped in October. If you check out the last video in this thread, you can see them at work.
