Ralph Fiennes is brilliant, I think. Tim Roth, Gary Oldman, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Gael Garcia Bernal, Edward Norton (though his movies are getting a bit samey) ... who else? Oh, David Thewlis - I've never seen anyone act so well as he did in Naked - that was phenomenal.

I'm sure there are more, I can't think who.

Christian Bale I did really like, but I'm not so fussed after Batman. He amazed me in The Machinist ... and scared me, what with how skinny he was. Yikes!

The Machinist is a great movie with an amazing Christian Bale, unfortunately that movie wasn't very popular here in Mexico. It was a pity.

I totally agree! Such a great film. And he was great in Kingdom of Heaven too.
I was browsing for his filmography and found out that he has lived with Anna Friel since 2001. Didn't know that! (Anna Friel is in Bathory with Hans)

I was reading through the thread and thought I'd let you know that Christian Bale (Ever see 3:10 to Yuma? Good overall story, but kinda rambly and unfocused in parts. I don't really care for Russell Crowe, but I thought he did a good job too.) He actually reminds me a lot of Hans with the quirky roles that he plays and the way he gets so into his characters. Good actor.

Anyhoo, Christian Bale and Johnny Depp are in the upcoming PUBLIC ENEMIES together due out in 2009. Now come on:-) Johnny may a bit big headed now, but he's still pretty:-)
