I bought the film on amazon prime. It’s free on YouTube too but the video is blurry. I think that Hans performance in this film is the best out of all his film performances so far. He plays a friendly church minister with a sad past; he lost his wife and child a while back. He’s lonely, but he does find luv again. It’s a sweet, feel gud film.

We really appreciate you purchasing the Christmas Candle on Amazon, rather than watching a pirated version. The quality is worth it and the film industry, particularly the creatives, make their living on residuals. If you need help finding legit copies of any of the films to purchase, globally, please PM me or send out a plea on the MATHESON MAFIA thread!

So true. I’m an amazon addict at the moment. There are lots of films and tv series free on amazon prime too and even more if you’re an amazon member. YouTube isn’t and never really was meant for tv shows or films. It’s mostly gud for short videos.

The costumes in The Christmas Candle are amazing! They remind me of the costumes in The Secret Diaries if Miss Anne Lister (2010).

There’s an interview with Hans about The Christmas Candle in the YouTube clip ‘TCC Behind the Scenes - The Christmas Candle.’ He says something like ‘It’s bizarre; it makes me laugh to think of myself in these situations. Singing with Susan Boyle in a church. I never thought that would happen.’ There are interviews with other members of the cast on there as well.

that was a promotional video that we distributed for the lead-up to the cinematic release of TCC. There is actually a 19-minute behind the scenes video that was never widely released, but those of us who worked with the film should get a release eventually, and I'll be able to share it.

The Xmas Candle can’t have been an easy film to make with the heavy costumes and with all the historical Research which must have been done for it.

The film was based on the book, of the same name, written by the Christian minister Max Lucado, out of Texas. So the research was done before the film was made. Shout out to the costume designer's, but when you look at the cast, you can probably tell that dealing with heavy costuming is a trick of the trade they're all accustomed too. Afterall, there's a HOBBIT dwarf amongst them. It's Samantha Bark's corset in Les Mis I always marvel at.
From a research perspective, in more recent projects, take a look at HMOL at the articles about the research that went into JERICHO and RISE OF THE EMPIRE. It's extraordinary what goes into preproduction and how meticulously the decisions are made - whether or not we as an audience agree with them, or even realize
