Laura, your manager sounds really incompetent. Almost to the point that they shouldn't be a manager! Dublin is a wonderful city, you will enjoy it

Sat down today to do a bought of sewing. Working on a project for one of the kids teachers. Turned on the tv to find "Last of the Mohicans." Forgot how much I love this movie with a younger Daniel Day Lewis and Steve Waddington. The scenery is amazing...it always takes my breath away and reminds me a bit of where I grew up. The sound track is one of my favourites also.

I got it on VHS tape, the truth is that it's been a bad quality because I was crazy about this movie several years ago. ;D I bought the soundtrack, 3 years ago, because I love the music from this movie. I always admired the Indian culture and the Canadian natural scenery. Moreover, I platonic love two actors from this movie in the past /Daniel Day-Lewis and Eric Schweig/.

I just have to say that I love it when World Cup Soccer is on. It really brings out people's national pride. Here in Canada we have so many people from all over the world who make up our population and it is fantastic to see all the different flags flying on peoples cars and homes (not to mention a great geography lesson for the kids). Our Mexico flags are flying proudly in this house! Hope everyone is enjoying the games and celebrating their favourite teams!

I agree with you. I love the World Cup season!! ;D In Argentina, football is the sport of choice, so all very excited when the tournament starts. In every workplace there is always a TV or radio on, transmitting any match. Not to mention when it plays Argentina! Everything freezes, hahaha! Many businesses closed, the bars are filled with people ... The Football makes equal to the people, is a sport very healthy and very cute! It would be predictable (and a little selfish) to say that I want out champion Argentina ... therefore I will say that I hope that each selection will give his best show and "leave everything on the stadium" (is a phrase very common here), defending the colors of their flags ... ;D

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. What a great pairing! :-)
For those of you in the UK, you'll probably more than likely know what I'm referring too.

What's everybody been up to over the summer? I have had a quiet summer not done much really, the weather in the UK has been rubbish, we have had rain for weeks in Manchester it has only been in the last few days when the sun has come out to play! In the last few weeks I have been for a drink at the Town Hall in Manchester and sat near the fire place where Hans had his desk in Sherlock Holmes, and I went back to Ynys Llanddwyn Island where they filmed Half light.
