Laura, good luck with your childcare course. It sounds exciting! :-)
As for christmas, I am looking forward to it, but this year will be the 1st year in about 5 where I will be working several days over the christmas holidays. It will be a slight shock to the system!

Thanks guys, very excited.
Christmas has never really been a big deal for me. I saw Michael Flatley in Lord of the Dance tonight, something I've been dreaming of for fifteen years. It was totally worth the wait and the £75! I am convinced that drama follows me wherever I go though, this bloke was filming the show on his phone in front of me so I complained and his daughter called me a 'screaming banshee' and a 'narky b****h'. If she thinks I'm narky when I'm watching Michael Flatley then she wants to come and live with me.

I literally have no voice at all right now. My throat isn't that sore but I just can't speak which is getting extremely annoying I have to say. I don't know how much use I will be in the nursery on Tuesday if I can't be heard when I speak!!

Well...it looks like we are all coming up for air...good to see you back caz! Good luck with the Christmas prep. Off to pick up nephew gifts today!
So, why is it that my kids have figured out Santa Claus but still believe in the Tooth Fairy?

There are reasons why I am eagerly waiting for the snow that has been forecasted for the next few days. Firstly, snow will give that festive feeling that is normally associated with Christmas. Plus, I also like the idea of getting snowed in so no getting to work...

Is that a rare occurance for Manchester caz? I don't know much about about the UK and the various regions. I've been trying to study a bit as I am trying to get my father over there for a tour. He's a bit of a theatre/arts/history buff so Google and I have been very friendly lately.
I went for a beautiful walk in the snow on Saturday with my son around the pond and down the ravine. We saw the most amazing birds and a waterfall. It was quite lovely. Today...it is pouring rain, no more snow and quite gloomy. The snow made everything look so clean and Christmasy...if that is even a word!

In CZ is a state of emergency due to snow, we have the so-called "white darkness" almost lockable throughout our state. Traffic crash etc...
