I thought I'd read that there was a Korean version but maybe I'm wrong. In any case, your solution is the download Videolan See the thread I've just made for details virgilreality.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=mafia&action=display&thread=293Of course, sometimes you can't buy stuff because your credit card won't be accepted. I have both a Visa card and a Mastercard and have often found that when one won't be accepted, the other will.

i dun believe it!!!!but while "catching" my kid in a video store a copy of NERO code 1 version was staring at me yesterday!!!! I almost faint at the sight of Hans in the Roman emperor attire.
Then i watched it not knowing it was not a "movie" but an almost 3 hours production till 3am!!!! Hans Matheson is so wonderful, he made Nero so lovable as a youth and even as Nero became more obsessed with power, one can't help feeling sorry for him. The end scene -suicide was especially touching!!! Also the part that he remembered the night his father was killed, all that portrayal of fear and insecurities. He's very convincing!!!

I actually had to order Nero offline and it took forever to find. The irony is though, I bought it after seeing John Simm in Doctor Who as the Master in the 3rd season and after that I wanted to see what else he was in, I found him as Caligula (who has always been my favorite Roman emperor) and I wanted to see how he played the crazed emperor. I haven't watched it yet, which is even sadder I know but it wasn't until recently that I actually found out Hans was Nero. I actually had to get off the couch and go get my DVD and look at the cover to see if the profile was actually him. I was shocked, I had no idea.
It made me feel kinda dumb.
I've read things about the movie and I can't say I'm looking too forward to it, just because it's so historically inaccurate you have to take it as fiction right out of the box. But then again, I had to go brush up on my Nero history, I did feel bad for him the more I read about it. Though the more research I do into the Rome the more I think there wasn't a whole lot of the 12 that were exactly sane for the majority of their rules....Nero sure as hell wasn't...
I have to wonder if he really did play the lyre while Rome burned or if he did it afterward and it was the historians of the time that just happened to hate him....if I could ever go back in time, I'd want to see Rome as it was...

I didn't know much about Nero when I watched it, only school history - 'Nero fiddled while Rome burned.' So when I was watching it, I took it as accurate, however when I read up about it after watching it I found out a lot of people said it wasn't accurate at all.

This is by far my favourite fan video for Nero. Gets all the important parts in and the song is just incredible, been played far too much by me since I stumbled across this. Annoying thing is it's not on iTunes! www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WsGTDyjzzc

I should really read through all seven pages of posts to see if this was discussed but I'm tired after a long day. OK, what happens with Nero and Mommy Dearest? Do they almost kiss and that's the end of it, and just that moment was enough to squick out Nero to the point of Matricide or are we meant to believe something Much. Much. Worse. happened, and that's why Nero killed her... morning-after regrets, as it were? I disagree with an earlier poster about red. I loved that red garment on Nero at the end where he tells Acte to go fly a kite. I wanted it for myself, actually.
