Maybe they trained it out of his standard delivery in drama school. I know I did everything I could to NOT sound like my Brooklynese cousins... Ohhh mwuy GAWD, that is jgoost sooo farcking rood man...
seems to me though that most little kids just want to sound, naturally talk, like the other little kids around them do.

That to me reads like Birmingham (West Midlands) speak, and even though Birmingham is only about 40 minutes away, I do try my best to not talk like that. I don't think anyone would understand me if I did.

I come from another country, but Hans has for me a very strange accent, rather more Scottish than English. But I like it very much. He has a individualistic accent.

I rewatched it two nights ago in my common room in the dark and noticed something interesting about Han's character. Spoilers:I noticed that when he is impersonating Angus he speaks with a Scottish accent probably because Angus did but when we see him at the train station he is speaking in his normal British accent. Just thought that was interesting to pick up on since it seemed like Patrick was probably from the London area as well.
I look forward to getting my disc drive fixed so I can actually start making a Half Light video...

I had watched this movie like two years ago. Of course liked him, but didn't show much interest to search about him back then. I watched it again two months ago and I'm in love. I have a bf and I'm thinkin about Hans all the time! I must have watched the movie so many times! I really like the character too, I mean the lighthouse keeper that he's supposed to be at first. Oh, how I wish I was Demi Moore...

If it is a good interpretation, but not of his best roles. I prefer his other performances where shows that not only knows how to make of nice guy in love, with a pretty face. I prefer to see their potential more versatile performances as Nerone (where he is seen playing many facets, here is when he show the great talent he has).

I watched on Saturday with my mother, the film was on television. The story is nothing special, but - beautiful music, nature, mysterious atmosphere. Hans clearly the best of the actors.

Is it just me? Or does the plot/story in Half Light remind anyone of the book The Woman In White by Wilkie Collins (1859) ?
