That is so ignorant! It's their freakin' job to get the facts straight before publishing stuff. Grrrrr, it makes me so angry! I mean - how hard can it be?? Anyway, thanks for the info, and welcome to our little community, Barb!

hi ... Henry Ian Cusick's webmaster here ... how is everyone? Just wanted to say that I'm enjoying reading all the discussion/speculation here and that right now I'm in the same boat ... all I know about your guy's and mine's roles are the character names and that they're both "leading" roles. Oh, yeah, and that "Angus" is the lighthouse keeper. I don't even have a clue so far as to who/what "Brian" is. I've learned that Henry tends to not like to give me a lot of info about his roles, I think because he feels that spoils it for me and everyone as viewers. I can understand that, and in many ways that's a good thing ... but as webmaster/fan/curious, it's frustrating all the same! So ... if I learn anything more along the way, it will probably be from things reported in the media. Other words, you'll all likely know before or soon as me. Well at least all you Hans fans have pics from the filming! All the best, Barb www.HenryIanCusick.comThank you Barb! Really, so far it did not appear neither official site of this movie. Therefore it is so difficult to identify who is who through the pictures.

There's no doubt whatsoever that Hans is pictured with Demi Moore. Isifa mislabeled their photos, but that doesn't change the fact that it's Hans in the photos. If you "Google" Half Light and Demi Moore, you'll see that most online articles name Hans as a co-star, and so does IMDB: imdb.com/title/tt0412798/

I know that is Hans Matheson in the pictures with Demi Moore. However, the site "Isifa" insists on saying that he is the actor Henry Ian Cusick. I wrote to the site requesting that they corrected this error, therefore, nor all the people know "well enough" Hans Matheson to identify it in the pictures. The majority of the people will read the information that is below of the pictures.

Well I don't mind if Henry Ian gets the publicity at this stage (I'm sure Hans doesn't) as long as we get the pictures! Talking of which, there are some more now up at Isifa, which I have taken the liberty of including in the new Half Light gallery at Hans Matheson Online. Hans and Demi look very comfortable together which is surely a good sign.

I don't like of sites that divulge wrong informations. However, I think that the original information was divulged by the site: "WWW.BIGPICTURESPHOTO.COM". I think that "ISIFA" just reproduced the error.
Perhaps, when the movie will have an official site divulging who is who in the movie with pictures, or when it will be shown in the "cinemas", these respective sites correct the information.
I already notified errors in other sites. Sites that comments historical errors. And generally they correct the wrong information. In this case, I did my part. I notified the error. Problem of them if had not corrected the error.

More about filming of Half Light LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION IT WAS lights, camera, action for a teenager as he starred in Demi Moore´s new movie thriller. Joseph Evans, 19, of Dwygyfylchi, appeared as a stand in for the male lead in Half Light, part filmed in Ynys Llanddwyn, Anglesey, which follows a successful mystery novelist, played by Ms Moore, whose life falls apart when her five year old son drowns at her country home. Joseph said: "I was surprised to get a call off my agent who said the producers were looking for a stand in for the film. She asked for my exact measurements but my mum wasn´t in so I had to go round to the corner shop with a tape measure!" It turned out that Joseph, who studied performing arts at Llandrillo College, was the exact match to play the stand in for the male lead in the film played by British actor Hans Matheson. After a brief meeting with the producers in a car park on a wet evening, Joseph only had an hour´s notice from when he was told he got the part to when he was due to be on set. He said: "I was very nervous and also excited. I did a bit of everything from being a runner to actually standing in for Hans late one night. All I had to do was wear a wig and point up to the sky, I don´t think many people will know it´s me but it was a great experience being on an actual film set. "Even though I didn´t really talk to Demi much she seemed always pleasant enough always saying hello when she passed. She even bought us all a few crates of beer after filming one evening." Joseph is now hoping to take to the stage and star in a pantomime of Aladdin in Crewe at Christmas. He added: "I have been trying to get the experience needed to do a degree in performing arts at the London Institute. I have been working for Theatre in Education but now I am really looking forward to my new challenge of starring in Aladdin." www.pioneernow.co.uk/ihome2/detail.asp?storyid=30154&catid=%201&officeid=10

If I understood the notice, this "Joseph Evans" will be a substitute in role of Hans Matheson? He will play the Hans's character when younger, or he will substitute Hans in some scenes?

Beatriz, Among other things, a stand-in will take the actor's place while the camera's being set up, stuff like that. If you saw the movie "Love Actually" ... remember the couple in the film who play the couple filming the sex scenes in a movie (or rather "standing in" for those scenes during set-up)? They weren't playing the stars of that movie, but rather were playing the stand-ins. I found a link to an article that explains quite well just what a stand-in is. Hope this helps. www.suite101.com/article.cfm/7674/73425Barb

Thank you Barb. The actor mentions in the interview, that he will only appear at one respective moment : (here) "All I had to do was wear a wig and point up to the sky, I don´t think many people will know it´s me but it was a great experience being on an actual film set." Now, I understood which will be his "role".

Posting this to Henry Ian Cusick's official msg. board, to GoJo's, Hans Matheson Online Forum ... Okay, re. Half Light and Henry's character .... Brian's last name is "Forester" ... he's Rachel's husband. I'm told that I can be told absolutely nothing else for now, and in return I have *promised* not to ask him anything else about his character or what happens in the movie. So there ya go. - Barb

I knew it!
He's Rachel's husband and he's the bad guy * That's why he can't say. It's a pstchological thriller after all There's probably a twist
*That's just my little guess folks, don't go around quoting it as a fact

And maybe Angus is the one who figures it out and thwarts his plan?
Still just guesses at this point, but it sounds like a plausible plot for this sort of genre.

hey I hope you're right, Virgil! That would be great! I personally would LOVE to see Henry play a bad guy. He can do anything, in my opinion. I've only seen him in roles played from Jesus on ... Jesus in Gospel of John, male lead in a romantic comedy (Perfect Romance for Lifetime TV) ... have gotten a glimpse of his work in 9/Tenths via a dvd I was sent of the trailer (looks fantastic!) ... I would totally enjoy seeing him as a bad guy. I don't want him to get pegged into any particular genre or type. Looking at his list of past work in theatre and tv/film, seems he already had quite a resume when it comes to variety of roles. Would like to see him keep that up. Okay I know this is a board about Hans ... so Hans fans, I return you to your regularly scheduled discussion.
