It's been entirely too long since I've posted here - but after having another Hans movie marathon, I am again all-fired-up! Can't wait for Half Light to be released... I'm interested also to know what kind of publicity it will bring to Hans, working with Demi Moore and all. In a way, I want to keep him all to ourselves (!) but I hope this project brings him what he wants, whether it's a good role for our enjoyment, or the beginning of something even bigger.
...Yep...still obsessed with this beautiful man.

Lakeshore Entertainment, which is distributing this film ?? is also distributing "Million Dollar Baby" so presumably they will be flush with funds. (go see it BTW, it's awesome, not just a movie about boxing, and even the boxing part was much more interesting than I thought it would be)
Of course each movie is an entity in its own right but that can't hurt can it? Combined with the Demi factor, I'll be hoping for some advance publicity.
I read an article, which has since disappeared offline, that release is slated for September Barb, do you know the article I mean? About a boat?

This the article? Demi's boat can earn us a fortuneI asked Henry about the Sept. release info the article gives, and he said it's possible ... that it was supposed to be Christmas this year but that if it's ready before then, why not? So ... could well be Sept. Barb

Gg .... hi ... sorry I don't know if the release will be simultaneous or about who'll be doing press junkets. I'm pretty useless! LOL
If I get any word on any of this I'll post it at Henry's web site ... and will also try and remember to drop by here or email.
Best always, Barb

That was the article, thanks Check your links, on your site it says the site is no longer active. I'm a tad confused .... is this the Half Light links page? I can't find where it says that. The link I have there still goes to the article. baffled Barb, lol PS .. and while I'm here, this may already be on this site, but imdb is giving a UK release date of 17 September. That's the only country it lists as of right now.

Hey I'm baffled too. Both at your site and on your post above AND where I've got it at HMO, it works sometimes and then other times not. I'd say it's my computer but others have mentioned the same problem. Must be something funny about their site redirecting But it's NOT our coding people. and I certainly didn't mean to infer that Barb. So if you get the "This article is no longer available" message, keep trying. (Doesn't mention Hans anyway

Here's a thought... Although the movie was filmed in Wales, and elsewhere, the part which was shot in Wales was supposedly set in Scotland. So do you think Angus will have a Scots accent? Shouldn't have been too hard to find a dialogue coach

I think the character's name being Angus is a good clue that he may very well use a Scots accent in the movie ... While the name doesn't have to mean that he will, it sure wouldn't surprise me. Will see if I can find out. From Popular Scottish Forenames - "A"- Barb

Beatriz, not as far as I know ... why did you think the movie might have an official site and/or trailer? I don't think it does, not yet. As an addendum to my previous post ... sorry, folks, but I wasn't even able to get anything about Hans' accent in the film. Craig Rosenberg must've placed a major gag clause on this film. Guess all we can do is guess among ourselves and wait!

Some movies are not launched world-wide. For example, Half Light is with foreseen date of first appearence for September of 2005. But, probably Half Light will not have world-wide first appearence as "Star Wars". In this case, we of the South America watcht the trailer with a great antecedence. For example, "The Ring", that it only goes the first appearence here in Brazil in the March end, the trailer was shown since October of the last year. Probably it will happen with Half Light. I think that from June we will have to watcht the trailer.
In the site dedicated to Henry Ian Cusick has some picture of Half Light?

Beatriz, it's not usual for there to be an official site or trailers online until a couple of months before release, especially for an independent production such as this one. And as Cusick Fan suggests, there appears to be major gags on this one I guess partly because it's a mystery/ thriller and they don't want to give away too much of the story, and also cos it's Demi's comeback role And no, we're lucky in that the available pics are those with Hans in them, not too much with HIC as far as I know. But there is a new article online where Craig Rosenberg sheds a bit of light ( half light? groan) on the film www.preview-online.com/sp2005/feature_articles/half-light/
