thank you thank you Mary Cathy--
hey Virg -- are these popping up on alerts in your inbox, because my alerts are missing these -- I get alerts everytime someone posts on this board, of course -- as if I didn't know his name was mentioned here.
oh the irony.

You mean on Google/Yahoo alerts? I cancelled those - got sick of the only things I ever got about a Canadian politician and some bowls results from somewhere.
Funny, I watched that You tube video but must have glanced away for the few seconds that that Hans pic took on screen - completely missed it. Thank goodness for MaryCathy

Have you noticed the concessional scene's seconds in the teaser? Just a flash about Hans' love attack.Take a look at Anna Friel's surprised face... I need your help ASAP. It's a pity or rather a shame, but I'm not able to add pictures to my massage .Would you please explain step by step? Thank you. My "dessert" will be 'Les Mis' for this evening. Afraid of an indigastion...

You will need to upload the pictures to a image hosting site. I use Photobucket photobucket.com/Once you're registered, you just upload the pics from your computer and then copy the link it gives you into this page there's a little picture icon next to the envelope at the top of this box you type in,which you can also use. EG [EgIMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v196/eigasuki/hm2.jpg[/IMG] without the little Eg which I put inside the brackets will give you Zita's handiwork! Isn't he cute?

About Caravaggio's figure from Hungarian media:
- Hans was seen by Jakubisko in the role of Zhivago when he's been surching for the suitable actor for Caravaggio's character. In Jakubisko's film after the murder Caravaggio started to Wien on foot, when he was caught by the turkish army. When they realized, that he is a famous painter, decided to take him to Buda to paint venice roses for the Turkish pasha. But Nádasdy Ferenc - Erzsébet's husband - had a sudden attack on the army, and Caravaggio ,as his own plunder was carried along to paint a picture of Erzsébet. After his escape from here he got back to Italy.
I wonder what was the reason of his escape from Hungary...

Some news from a Hungarian site: index.hu/kultur/cinematrix/hirblog/2007/11/27/felfuggesztett_bortont_kaptak_a_rablokIn Prague two men has been sentenced to imprisonment for stealing one of the duplicates of Juraj Jakubisko's "Bathory".The historical thriller about the famous Hungarian countess is expected to be realesed in January. (Won't be realesed )It is costed about 12 million euros, so this is the most expensive Middle-Europian movie. Jan Milic and Karel Lupomesky - also the members of the crew - copied the duplicate illegally and they wanted Jakubisko's wife to buy back for half million crowns.(about 20000 euros) Milic was arrested meanwhile receipting the amount. The court of justice in Prague sentenced Lupomesky for ten months, Milic for eight months imprisonment.

The court of justice in Prague sentenced Lupomesky for ten months, Milic for eight months imprisonment. But now we know what they were really looking for! There is a much more passionable loving scene in the film : after the death of her husband, Bathory Erzsébet and Caravaggio meet in the church and make love in a confessional. We shooted this scene in the Gothic church of Kutná Hora. Hans was performing with total devotion (hhhh...), but so much, that in the end during the cutting progression I had to take back of his passion and I rather had to show Anna Friel's face. He was acting so hotly, that I thought I mustn't show everything to the audience - I have to leave some momentums to their own imagination. " Gotta be some way we can get our hands on the outtakes

Nice picture! Thank you Virgil. I like the new layout of the site, but I wonder why the English version of the site disappeared.

To tell the truth I'm worried a bit. There is no sign of the Hungarian release on Bathory Official Site! And here is a Hungarian site with the upcoming movies: www.filmajanlo.hu/index.php?inc=jovo&id=200803without Bathory. Send me reassuring news, please!!!
