I don't know but, maybe it would be surprising if the movie was released in Hungary before the Karlovy Vary Film Festival. It is likely that the release date for Hungary has been postponed too. But the question is : what is the date? Zita, if you want, maybe you can send a mail to one of these e-mail addresses : www.ceskatelevize.cz/specialy/bathory/cs/kontakty/Or to Sola-media too. I sent them a mail a few weeks ago and they answered quickly. Here is the mail : post@sola-media.net Maybe they could give you the release date. |

Yes, I also think that after postponing so many times, the Karlovy Vary Film Festival would be the deserving occasion to release - celebrating Jakubisko's birthday in the meantime. BUT - I'm still hoping. This film is related to Hungary's history, partly made of Hungarian money... I sent an e-mail to jakubiskofilm.com. Thanks for the idea, Marycathy!  |

Sorry, I don't really understand the text on Bathory site, I only noticed, that the Hungarian release date- 6th March - is missing.
I wrote my e-mail in Hungarian and in English too. I promise to inform you when I got the answer.
( I tried to use a translating program from Slovakian to Hungarian, but it didn't work. After typing any word it's answer was:not found.)
