Dr Who would say some thing very deep and poetic about a wait of a million years. I know you will all turn on me for saying this but......I belive Bill Nighy should be the next DR cos he can carry off woofing mad and we would be driven frantic with excitement if Hans was on tv for 13 straight weeks and an hour on Crimble day. If I were to put Hans into an episode of Dr Who he would be a tinker selling very lucky make dreams come true charm type thingys, hed build up a friendship with K9 and the pair of em would save the day,

That would be awesome I probably should do a bit more research before posting this. but I just read this article online and thought I'd share Elocutionary Dr WatsonRobert Downey Jr and Law will face most of the danger when they confront the film's 'baddie', played by Mark Strong.
Rachel McAdam has the main female part of Irene Adler, who enjoys a tempestuous relationship with the detective from Baker Street.
Eddie Marsan, James Fox and Hans Matheson are also in the flm, which is now in production. I know it's the Daily Mail but this guy Baz Bamigboye seems t be pretty reliable. But, 2010?

He's not on the list for Imdb.com yet, but that means nothing. Variety doesn't mention any attached cast aside from Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr, but as the production is absolutely a go, I would guess that we can count on it. Guy Ritchies films gets to the the cineplexes...

Still no 'official" confirmation, but another press mention. Robert Downey Jr turns sleuth as filming begins on Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes movieIt's the same paper. the Daily Mail, but they'd have to have some info to go on. This movie has actually started filming and is not just a rumour. also, there seems to be a lot of press interest, including on-set pictures as the link shows. So if it's true that Hans is in fact in this - should lead to big things. Not to mention, as Gg says, it'll come to your local cineplex. We haven't had that in a while - not in my time anyway.

I got to see LES MIS and STILL CRAZY in the theater. It has been too long!! Did anyone else notice that the trailer music of LES MIS is "Cadillac of the Skies" from EMPIRE OF THE SUN?? But Shelock Holmes remains in the Variety's "filming abroad" list, though his name isn't on the announcement, usually its only a blurb with the first or second credit cast anyway. HOllywood reporter made its production announcement at the end of September. P. with Warner Bros. (though they have just lost their indy wing), I would say, we can look forward to it! It's also gotten some press in the US as well (which makes sense, since Ritchie is promoting his current release) www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/10/08/earlyshow/leisure/boxoffice/main4509887.shtmlwww.cnn.com/CNNI/Programs/screening.room/blog/2008/10/sherlock-holmes-victorian-superhero.htmlDoes anyone else love Robert Downey Jr? His work I mean? Anyone see IRONMAN? Home for the Holidays? Wonder Boys? Chaplin? (I know that one had its controversies). Between he and Rachel McAdams I was destined to see this film, at any rate.

Hans' part in the new Holmes film is playing the Foreign Secretary and Head of the Masonic Lodge. There is no character name I can find. I think it may be a relatively small part.
