If Hans is going to be Dr Who we'll find out tomorrow. They're announcing who it is tomorrow in a special programme on BBC 1 at 5.35 pm

Weirdest thing this morning I was in Central London coming out of a meeting..long story...with a theatre director, anyway on the way out I kinda bumped into this guy who held the door open for me. I wasnt really looking and then did a double take cos the guy looked really really like Hans. So I wonder if it was him he may be going back to do some theatre, would have opened my big mouth and found out but I was in such a hurry! d**n it!

wouldn't it be glorious to see live performance (for those of us who had to miss the staged reading of the anniversary of MOJO). Can I ask which theatre??!!! Royal Court perhaps??!!

It was the Donmar, Im pretty sure it was him (Ive been kicking myself since about not getting a proper look!). I know they're casting for a production of A Streetcar Named Desire in July with Rachael Weisz

GROOVY!
The Donmar is a non-profit theater company staging out of Covent Garden (the warehouse) and West End. They have a prestigious line up in London as well as on tour internationally. The line up includes, for instance, "A Dolls House" at Covent Garden, and Shakespeare's "12th Night" as well as "Hamlet" with Jude Law later in the Summer in the West End. Judy Dench does "Madame De Sade" from March to May (hmmm)...
So shoot some good thoughts in that direction... that would be a wonderful opportunity for any actor.
"Streetcar" would probably run after July 18 at the Warehouse, as the venue is booked until then.
In the US Ashley Judd did "Streetcar" (until she broke her foot) on Broadway... she got great reviews. It would be very interesting to see Rachel Weisz tackle this quintessential role -- particularly with the dynamic choice to make it a legendary film starring a BRITISH actress back in the Vivien Leigh days.
"STELLA!!!!!!"

I'd love to see Hans do theatre. I personally think theatre is always more magical than films/TV...but I am a really big theatre fan. I'll go and watch any play once and give it a chance. It'd be great to see Hans in a Shakespeare play, anything but King Lear, I really can't stand that play, not since studying it for AS Level.
