According to my semi-official unofficial source, Hans is indeed in this movie, although it's only a small part.
When I have more details, I'll set up a thread in the Movies section but until I know more, or it's up on IMDB, I'm just going to discuss it here.
Still, it's a 'big' movie and getting a lot of press already, even if much of it at the moment revolves around Guy Ritchie/ Madonna's divorce. Hoping he finds distraction in work.

Hans must buy a bucket of halloween sweeties then run to Steven Moffats house and get his name first on that list to be Dr Who,can you imagine a little Hans action figure, how funny would that be? .He has to be ready to RUN cos that happens in every episode ;)laugh one moment cry the next and do that thing with his eyes when Captain Jack turns up cos hes gonna adore him

I'm kinda ambivalent about whether I would wan this to happen. I'm never sure whether I like Dr Who or not, vever really got into it on a regualr basis but have enjoyed watching most of the time I've tuned in - and other times just haven't been able to stay the distance.
Of course it could propel Hans into the stratosphere is true - and isn't what this site is all about? Wonder if it's what he meant by "being free to pursue other things" when he pulled out of the Tudors? I kind of assumed he was making a joke about mostly playing period roles.
Still, what a year anyway. Great role in Tess, part in a potentially huge film . All we need now is for Bathory to get a release and maybe become a huge sleeper shlock-cult classic, add in the Doctor and my work here is done!

or perhaps the work will have just begun... Let us remember, this is as speculative as it can get -- a guy at Uni Warwick is our speculator! But an interesting spec!? Curious to hear Star chime in -- think she'll ask for a "finder's fee"!

how about this one for the definite NO category -- does anybody else get the "KILLER STRIPPERS" banner on the forum? It pops up for me every now and then.
I think I'd pass on that one! Whether he was the stripper or the victim of said killers...
