Most definately! Lynette, the hottest that it's got here within the last few days is something like 26 - 27C. Laura, so you're getting the chance to potentially meet Brian Fortuna again? You lucky devil. I am still waiting for the first chance meeting with him never mind the second. Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend. This is quite unusual, Cat. We have almost freezing. ;D We have at this time in previous years around 40! In the shade.

Lynette, you live in Prague is that right? What is the weather generally like there in the summer? Is it freezing there now or is it hot? I went a few years ago (late autumn), and the weather was surprisingly mild.

Aww Cat, my friend missed out the last time we went as she was working so I hope she manages to get to meet him. He is adorable, he was holding a competition on his blog to win a t-shirt with 'Fortuna Fantastics' on it in genuine crystals and I won it, I never win anything, I couldn't believe it! I hope you get to meet him at some point, he and Kristina are doing their Grand UK Adventure over the next couple of weeks, so maybe there'll be something near you. That was the first time I met him: i487.photobucket.com/albums/rr239/strictlygal/MeandBrian.jpg

Laura...took your advice and got some tickets to Riverdance. Go next Wednesday. Should be good. My friend and I are going together since both our husbands just looked at us like we had 2 heads when we suggested we go on "dates"! That's okay... Oh...love the picture of you Brian Fortuna...sorry never heard of him...very attractive though and you look great!

He is very handsome, and he can dance which is always a great skill to have! ;D Gg, I didn't know that, do you know who it was? I've just Googled it, that is so sad.

I hope that your friend gets to Brian this time! I've looked at the venues for this Grand UK Adventure and all the places that Brian & Kristina are going too are absolutely nowhere near where I live. Heh...go figures! Gg wrote: Did you guys know one of the original "RiverDancer"s was one of the passengers lost on the French fllight lost earlier this week?Really? Who was that?

I went a few years ago (late autumn), and the weather was surprisingly mild. I live in Western Bohemia, I am not from Prague. I have some relatives there, but I live elsewhere. We had the last few years really big heat, normally around 40, probably as a result of global warming. In the past, the temperatures were around 30 or slightly over the 30th The normal temperature for late spring and summer days in the Czech Republic.

Eithene Walls. She had left Riverdance and was studying medicine. She was traveling with 2 other med students. Sad for all the families.

I read in my local paper a few days ago that there was a small tornado where I live. I'm gutted that I didn't get to see it, I would have been there with my camera attempting to photograph it. On a tangent to this, I'd love to visit Oklahoma to go on a storm chase!

Since 10pm last night we've been at the ER with Kristy. I wish I could tell you she's come home and everything is fine, she's properly medicated and we know what's going on. I wish I could tell you she's on her way to being healthy again. I can't say that. It'd be a horrible, horrible lie. And I can't seem to do...much of anything else either. I just got home about 40 minutes ago, cleaned out the cat box, tried to let out the dog and all she did was everything I didn't want her to. I've got searing pains in my right arm from god knows what...so I'm going to eat something and catch the dog and go to the urgicare now rather than later. And then I'm gonna come back home and go to bed for a few hours so I can go see Kristy and not have to think about anything else.
They don't know what she has. They think it could be anything from an bacterial infection to some kind of cancer
But the problem is...we don't know. And we won't know until the pulminary guy gets to the Hospital and tells Kristy what's going on...we'll know something soon...I hope.

And here's the cherry topper, I might wind up in the bed next to her in ICU, turns out the severe pain in my arm is actually a staph infection and if the medication the doctor gave me doesn't help or else it spreads/gets worse, I've got to go check into the ER and have intravenous antibiotics pumped into my body. If I'm in there, there's no one to take care of anything in our lives, pets, house...nothing.
I've never felt so hopeless and helpless before..
I hate it
