A snippet from a review of episode one from someone on Imdb who has seen a sneakpeek of the first two episode. Thomas Cranmer has been introduced, and I don't know what to think of him yet. He seems to skulk in the background and look mysterious a lot This person is NOT a Hans fan Apparently there have been DVD screeners given out for promotion purposes, with the inevitable consequences

Pretty good opening credits video! Thank you Zita. How it's good to see Hans's name in the credits! About the review, maybe it's a good thing he looks "mysterious".

Indeed. Well spotted Zita.
Looking mysterious is good, "skulking' seems to me to be a egative judgement. I wonder if Cranmer will be sympathetically portrayed (ie as a "goodie")?
PS What news of Grandma, Marycathy?

Cranmer seemed to be close to Henry VIII. He helped him with his divorce and other things. But I wonder if Henry is portrayed sympathetically. I've not watched series one. Maybe if he is, then Cranmer will be too. But, I don't know, maybe it's more complicated than that. My grandma feels a lot better. Thank you for asking Virgil! She left the hospital yesterday. Now she's in a convalescent home before going back home in a few weeks.

The music in this new video is quite inspirating for looking mysterious, isn't it? Well, I don't know - as for me it depends on many things what kind of music I listen to. It's the question of mood and situation. The same song can create different feelings in different situations. The palette of my musical taste is pretty colourful, some day I need some soft Beatles, the other day I switch on "Holiday" by Green Day. (My teenager son used to deceive his friends: Mum is a punk-rocker... ;D) Now my husband is abroad, these days' favourite is "Lonely Day" by System of a Down - great song. - What about you? I'm sure it's the best way for Hans to inspirate himself, and he'll surely find the best music to use.

Forgive me father, for I have sinned.... I've just seen screencaps from the first two episodes of The Tudors - there are promotional DVDs out there in the cybervoid. It would appear that there are only a couple of scenes with Hans in the first two episodes and they are pretty much as you saw in that short "Royal Cast of Characters" videoclip that's on the official site. Maybe they just didn't cap all Hans scenes - though the capping was pretty thorough it seems. Anyway, I'll format them when I get my desktop back from repairs ( What again??/ Why yes, agaian. NOT recommending HP) Meanwhile, with thanks to 16tosvo from the Tudors livejournal group, here's a peek.

No, I think only the US viewers can. Can you watch it in Hungary? I hope it'll be on another website too. Otherwise, I'll have to wait for the DVD release.

The first series of The Tudors runs now on HBO here in Hungary and it will be relesed on DVD by the end of the year - hopefully followed by the 2nd series soon. But it takes a year at least.
